Congratulations to the winners at the multi event at the Northern Centre.

The winner of GC Tas ACA Bronze Medal  was John Colquhoun of Eastern Shore who will compete for the Australian GC Gold Medal at Cairnlea Victoria in September.

The runner-up was  Graham Keating of Sandy Bay

The winner of the GC Selectors' 8 was Rod Tait of St. Leonards with runner-up Patsy Paine on a count-back from June Pongratz of New Town

The selectors then selected the following GC Team to compete for the Interstate Shield at Cairnlea in September.

Women: Ruth McKean, Yvonne Shaw, Kaye Denny, Patsy Paine,  Gina Kirkland
and  June Pongratz (non travelling reserve).

Men: Graham Keating, John Colquhoun, Phil Roach, Hugh Denny, Brian Rubock
and    Grant Willson (non travelling reserve)

Some Mainland visitors

The annual Easter Croquet Tournament was held at the Northern Tasmanian Croquet Centre under ideal weather conditions enabling excellent play. All final games were close several won by one hoop. The Open Golf Croquet singles event ended with 6 players all ending the round robin blocks with 4 wins each the event  was won by Richard Parks of the Monash club Victoria defeating Rod McAdam Kingston Club , third went to Rod Tait St. Leonards club.

The golf croquet handicap doubles won by Kathie and Ian  Pitt defeating Jenny and Rob Arnold

with third going to Richard  Parks Monash and Robin O Reilly of Devonport

The Association events were closely contested with the singles going to John Colquhoun Eastern Shore  runner up was John Lee-Archer Devonport and third Steff Anderson Latrobe

The Association Handicap Doubles  winners were John Colquhuon and Noel Davies of Eastern Shore from Sylvia Wing St Leonards Club and Jenny Arnold  with Derek and Brenda Burrows third. Organisers were overall impressed by the closeness of games and cooperation of participants. Feedback from players was very pleasing
