As a visitor of a club, you will pay between $5 and $10 per day. Annual membership fees vary and are laid out on each Club’s web page.
Membership numbers vary depending on the number of lawns available. Single lawn clubs will have 20-30 members. Member numbers at three lawn clubs can exceed 100. Member numbers can sometimes be capped to reduce the wear and tear on the lawns.
Croquet is played all year round at every Tasmanian club except when the lawns are closed for lawn maintenance and renovation.
Clubs participate in croquet pennant in their respective regions (north and south) in various grades. A team from the north and one from the south also competes each year.
Many clubs regularly accommodate school groups and corporate groups and provide all equipment and instruction. Visit club web pages to find out if there is a program running at that club.
