Welcome to Croquet Tasmania's 2024 Silent Auction!

This year, we're bringing together an exciting array of Tasmanian product, experiences, local services and interesting items to help fund the World Team Championships (Openshaw Shield) being held in Tasmania in February 2025. From gourmet delicacies to unique Tasmanian adventures, there are lots of exciting ways that you can show your support.

Take a look at the amazing items donated so far and use the form at the bottom of page to submit your bid by 5 pm, 2 November 2024. You can bid on multiple items, and increase your bid on an item at any time. Other than the winning bids (the highest bid on an item at the close of bidding), all bids will be kept confidential.

We will announce the winners of the silent auction at the Tasmanian Teams Championships on 2 November 2024 and notify successful bidders by email or phone soon thereafter.

1. Dozen bottles of Tasmanian wine

A selection of fine wines to enjoy as you celebrate with your team mates and regale each other with tales of your croquet mastery!

2. Six nights at Binnalong Bay

Enjoy up to 6 nights at beautiful Binnalong Bay on Tasmania's popular east coast. The owners of this four bedroom, two bathroom home with spectacular water views welcome croquet players, tourists and locals alike to experience one of the best beach locations that Tasmania has to offer.

3. Fishing at Tasmania's highland lakes

Experience the Tasmanian outdoors with trout fishing for one or two people at the highland lakes with a croquet member, staying one night at Great Lake Hotel (queen bed or twin), all expenses paid. Boat is available and, if needed, fishing gear supplied. The member will act as guide and operate the boat.

4. Greens Beach holiday destination

9. Pet sitting

Looking to go away on a holiday but Rover and Tiddles need a place to stay? Well look no further as Sue will look after your pet(s) in their own home (or hers) anywhere in Tasmania, for up to a week.

12. A day on the Derwent river sailing on "Innovator"

Enjoy a day's cruise on the river for up to six adventurers. Sail under the bridge, up the river, or out to " The Iron Pot", whatever your preference (but weather dependent). No sailing experience needed. Relax and take in the scenery or you can learn the basics of sailing too.

The Kitchen Maid is happy to clean your fridge, your oven, your stove top; reorganise your pantry; do some baking for you; make sauces, relishes, chutneys, jam from your surplus produce. She’ll even provide you with basic lessons in baking and yeast cooking.

The Kitchen Maid will travel statewide.
